Equipping Leaders in Canada

For more than 25 years, GLN Canada has been driven by the belief that leadership changes everything. When you commit to grow your leadership, everyone around you wins. Churches thrive, businesses work for good, and communities are transformed.

GLN Canada has been serving and equipping leaders from ministry, business, academia, and not-for-profits for 25+ years. We’re the largest convener of leaders across Canada, with over 60,000 participants in our programs over the past ten years across all sectors of society and from all Christian denominations. We maintain collaborative relationships with well-respected Canadian National Ministries including Alpha, Focus on the Family, Power to Change, the Global Aid Network, and more.

Our online and live events, including our signature Global Leadership Summit (GLS) event, exist to equip and inspire you with a faculty of world-class leaders including Jim Collins, Andy Stanley, Malcolm Gladwell, and Bono. With premier host site locations in 25+ Canadian cities, the GLS connects you with leaders across Canada and with a global community of over 250,000+ attendees worldwide in 120+ countries and 50+ languages.

Additionally, we are proud to partner with organizers and supporters each year to facilitate the Sommet Mondial du Leadership in Sherbrooke, QC where hundreds of French-speaking participants gather to grow their leadership skills and network with other growth-oriented leaders. We also invest in the next generation of leaders through GLN Next-Gen, providing tailored experiences to help build character, purpose, and leadership skills in young leaders across Canada.

Roles

Next Gen Development Lead

Part-Time

As the Next Gen Development Lead, you provide operational leadership for GLS Next Gen. You translate Next Gen’s mission and strategic priorities into coordinated action. You build faith-based leadership resources from Next Gen content, then equip churches, camps, youth organizations, and schools to activate their Next Gen leaders using our resources. You function as both visionary and administrator, setting the strategic direction for Next Gen’s growth across Canada, maintaining the technical infrastructure, and managing the full partner pipeline from first outreach through long-term renewal.

At GLN Canada, we believe that “everyone has influence,” and we work together toward a future where everyone sees themselves as a leader. As part of the GLN Canada team, you will report to the Director of Operations and Executive Director. They will mentor you and help set the future vision and direction for GLS Next Gen in Canada.

You will be part of the global GLS Next Gen network, which raises up the next generation of leaders in countries around the world such as South Africa, Australia, Vietnam, Brazil, and India. As the Canadian lead, you will represent the global Next Gen team and work with the content they produce to resource Canadians. You will also work with GLN Australia to adapt their curriculum and content for the Canadian context.

Above all, you are deeply passionate about developing the next generation of Christ-centred leaders, and you believe, like we do, that the next generation isn’t the church of tomorrow; it is the church of today.
